You may think that your story isn’t important, it is just about you and that nobody cares to hear about your life, your struggles, or your experiences, but if for a moment, you can consider what sharing your story could mean to thousands, even hundreds of thousands of people who struggle, who have similar experiences, who live lives akin to yours—then you can see just how important your life and story become. At Rainbow Legends we believe that every story matters and we believe that every person has a story. Thank you for taking the time to share yours with us.

 

We are looking for uplifting, inspiring stories about the LGBTQ community!

All Up-Coming Releases are a collection of short stories about the following:

• Acts of Courage (Activism)
• Acts of Love (Volunteerism)
• Coming Out (Share your coming out experience)
• Gay Retirement (Share about life as a retired LGBTQ person)
• Living with HIV/AIDS (Share your experiences of living with HIV/AIDS)
• Love Stories (Share your LGBTQ love story)
• Miracles (Overcoming Obstacles i.e. health, acceptance, work etc)
• Rainbow Champions (Heroic People within the LGBTQ Community)
• Raising Rainbow Families (Stories about raising children in LGBTQ households)
• Stories of Faith (What role has faith played in your life as an LGBTQ person)
• The Voices of Our Children (Share your stories about being raised by an LGBTQ parent(s))
• Transgender/Cross Dresser (Share your experiences of challenging gender identity)
• With Love, Mom and Dad (Stories from parents about their relationship with their LGBTQ son or daughter)
• With Love, Your Brother (Stories from brothers about their LGBTQ brother or sister)
• With Love, Your Friend (Stories from friends of LGBTQ Community)
• With Love, Your Sister (Stories from sisters about their LGBTQ brother or sister)

Things to consider when submitting your story:

• What do you hope others will take or receive from hearing your story?
• What do you consider to be most important about your story?
• How does your story inspire, encourage, show acts of love, strength, resilience, success, victory, happiness?
• What do you personally hope to gain from sharing your story?
• Which Rainbow Legends's catagory best fits your story?
